Market Research on Competitors and Target Market
It’s important for us to have a better understanding of how our target audience perceives our brand and competitors. We want to develop clarity on our competitive advantages and optimize our marketing strategy. Main Project : Students can focus on the following : Customer Profile - who is our potential target customer. Marketing channels and suggestions for the first campaign. Sales plan for the first year (numbers should be supported by the research). Competitive Analysis (who are our competitors + analysis of two main competitors). Opportunities and threats. Recommendations. Other tasks to consider: students to look at our current customer profile and recommend what we need to change. Do we need to change our messaging? How can we improve our online presence? Objective: We hope to gain a comprehensive understanding of a) our target market, and b) the competitors in our space and c) how we can differentiate ourselves through our product/service offering, and our messaging.
