Utilizing a multi-layered approach, we coordinate solutions that allow pathways towards becoming more sustainable to meet the end-user where they are at, in the hope of adopting these behaviors into their own experience. Our hope is that providing solutions that are accessible to the people who want to engage at any of the levels will start a prosocial behavioral build-up that begins with well-being and health. We believe by showcasing entry points and pathway's to becoming for sustainable at each level helps to provide positive solutions that allow the end-user choice through experiential design and engagement which we feel is a better journey than the disastrous messaging we are all feeling overwhelmed by in our current environment. By taking small steps, that are accessible and easy, we hope that these building blocks provide confidence in the end-user to take the next step towards behavioral change, at their own pace, through well-being and engagement

Working with the team—both Monica and Narishdath—has been absolutely wonderful. Their support and collaboration throughout the project made the entire experience incredibly enriching. Creating something meaningful out of materials that might otherwise be overlooked was a beautiful process. It was truly inspiring to see it all come together, transforming what seemed like nothing into something powerful and impactful.

Sustainable Material Lifecycle Optimization for Design Libraries

The project aims to develop a sustainable system for managing sample materials in architecture and design firm libraries. The primary goal is to optimize the lifecycle of these materials by incorporating Environmental Product Declarations (EPD), Health Product Declarations (HPD), and third-party rating systems such as Declare label, Cradle to Cradle (C2C), LEED, and WELL building standards. Additionally, the project seeks to address the issue of surplus materials by creating a streamlined process for their collection and repurposing. This will not only alleviate congestion in design libraries but also divert materials from landfills, transforming them into art projects that enhance community engagement and outreach. By doing so, the project will provide clarity and improved usability for design professionals while promoting sustainable practices.
